IN THE WORKS!
At CrossPointe we want our youth and young adults to express themselves freely in God. The youth/young adults at CrossPointe will be challenged to live out the word of God and influence their schools, college campuses, and workplaces. In the process of doing this, they will also have fun building relationships and serving the community.
Youth outing one time per month.
Youth church service project and bible study one Saturday per month.
EQUIP Children’s Ministry
Here at CrossPointe, children learn about Jesus, Godly and biblical principles, and concepts. We study the Bible from Genesis to Revelation to seek out God’s truth and learn how to apply this truth to our lives. Children’s Church includes elementary age students K-6 and currently uses Kids Sunday School Place Curriculum. We practice corporate prayer, study the bible, sing, and engage in fun activities such as crafts, skits and most importantly the Word of God. Snack is provided during children’s church but if your child has specific dietary needs you may want to bring a snack for them. The rules for children’s church include obedience, respect and kindness (following directions, listening, respecting and being kind to others). To enhance the learning and teachings optional homework and memory verses may be given along with a parent letter that describes the lesson.
Students in 5th and 6th grade partner with students from K-3rd to work together on the lesson activities. Youth ages 12-17 can be helpers during children’s church as well (the number of students determines how many helpers are needed that day) once a month but must be upstairs on Sunday’s they are not helping. Parents are encouraged to get involved, members of the congregation are welcome to ask how they can get involved as well. We ask that each child bring their bibles for children’s church. There is no children’s church during the 4th and/or 5th Sundays of the month so that children can attend service. This assists with transition from children’s church to regular service.
